I am running two workshops across two evenings, Monday 22nd February and Monday 29th March.
They will seek to answer such questions as “Why is goal setting important?”, and we will be looking at some different personal goal setting strategies.
Here’s a rough guide to what we will be covering on each of the two nights:
- Our needs and how we meet them
- Motivation and how we use it to set our goals
- The goal setting ‘icebergs’ – hidden outcomes, and other potential traps
- Finally, there will be a chance to create a goals list and turn them into a meaningful ‘to do’ list which we can act on.
Goal Setting 2
- Looking at the outcomes of Goal Setting 1 and what has been achieved
- Life balance and how important it is
- How we perceive time (past, present and future) and how it impacts on our goals
- Plus some exercises designed to really think about what is important in our lives.
That’s a rough guide, but, of course, I will be adjusting what we cover based on the needs of everyone present, as it’s not a ‘cookie cutter’ course, with a set curriculum.
Where and where?
Goal Setting 1 will run from 7 – 9.30pm on Monday 22nd February 2010.
